Election Day is Tuesday, November 4th and we encourage you to vote for our entire Democratic ticket this year. If you need assistance, please feel free to contact us by telephone at 812-829-4254 or 812-325-4029. If you need to know where you vote, all polling sites with addresses are on this site. If you need to reach the Owen County Clerk's office, call 812-829-5028 or 812-829-5015. They will be open all day. Also open all day is our Headquarters at 152 East Jefferson Street here in Spencer. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner will be served. Please vote and come join us for tonight's big victory celebration! Thank you for your support! |

SPENCER, INDIANA - The Owen County Democratic Party will hold their annual Hog Roast and benefit auction at the Owen County Fairgrounds here in Spencer on Sunday, October 12th. The meal is FREE and everyone is welcome. There will be a social time from 12:00pm until the start of the meal at 1:00pm. The event is made possible by Clerk Harley Melton and Judge Frank Nardi, who are donating and cooking the hog, and by the Owen County Democrat Club. Salad, rolls, drinks, desserts, and side items will also be served. |

SPENCER, Ind. – Recognizing that that every community matters, today Jill Long Thompson and Dennie Oxley stopped by the Owen County Fair in Spencer as they continued their “Hoosier Hometown Tour” on Tuesday. The Democratic candidates for Governor and Lieutenant Governor are spending the summer visiting a number of Indiana’s often overlooked communities, meeting with local residents, touring local businesses, stopping by county fairs and announcing their plans to restore Indiana’s promise. |
